Tatoeba / OPUS

Some Lao learning examples use Lao-English sentence pairs from the Tatoeba corpus, distributed by OPUS as Tatoeba v2026-07-08 under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 France license.

LaoLingo adds localized translations and synthesized Lao audio. These modifications are not endorsed by Tatoeba or OPUS.

Deterministic Lao IPA is produced with lao2ipa 1.0.0, licensed under Apache License 2.0.

Lao word-boundary validation uses LaoNLP 1.3.0 by Wannaphong Phatthiyaphaibun, licensed under Apache License 2.0.

The Android Edge Read Aloud integration was developed with reference to edge-tts. LaoLingo does not bundle the Python package.
